Open properties give us room to work; gated communities such as Dataw need advance clearance for the chef's vehicle.

Questions from St. Helena Island

Frequently asked.

Do you travel to Harbor and Dataw Islands?+

Yes — Sea Islands are part of our regular service area with a small travel fee quoted up front.

Can you cook a Gullah-inspired hibachi menu?+

We stay true to a traditional teppanyaki menu, but we love to feature local Lowcountry proteins (shrimp, scallops) as a nod to the coast. Ask about custom add-ons at booking.

What locals say about us in the South Carolina Lowcountry

We flew in family from four states for our Sea Pines wedding weekend and the rehearsal dinner was the night everyone still talks about. The chef had 42 people fed, entertained and laughing on the pool deck — and the kitchen was cleaner than he found it.
Meredith & RyanHilton Head Island, SCWedding welcome dinner · 42 guests
My husband's 50th on Palmetto Dunes. Onion volcano, the whole show, and the shrimp and filet were genuinely restaurant quality. Booking took five minutes and the price on the estimate is exactly what we paid.
Danielle P.Hilton Head Island, SCMilestone birthday · 24 guests
Beaufort waterfront rental, twelve of us, two kids who only eat chicken and noodles. They handled the kids' plates first so the grown-ups could actually enjoy dinner. Worth every dollar.

Common questions in the South Carolina Lowcountry

Can you get into gated communities and vacation rentals?

Yes. Sea Pines, Palmetto Dunes, Wexford, Colleton River, Callawassie and the Bluffton gated neighborhoods are routine for us — just add the guest-pass or gate instructions in the booking notes and we handle arrival with the gate ourselves.

Do I need to provide tables, chairs or anything else?

No. We bring the grill, tables, chairs, place settings and all cooking equipment, then set up and break down completely. The only thing you provide is drinks — we don't hold a beer and wine license.

Can we cook on a rental deck, patio or by the pool?

Almost always. We cook outdoors on decks, patios, driveways and pool areas across Hilton Head, Bluffton and Beaufort, and only need a level spot roughly 10 by 10 feet with clearance overhead.

What times can you serve in the Lowcountry?

We run two seatings a night — 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Beach-week families usually take the 5 PM seating and wedding or adult groups take 8 PM.

How far in advance should I book for beach season?

Peak Hilton Head weeks from Memorial Day through Labor Day and wedding weekends fill first, so reserve as early as you can. Off-season dates are often available with just a few days' notice.

What does it cost to hold my date?

A $200 non-refundable reservation fee books the date. It is applied toward the Complete Event Setup portion of your final invoice. Your estimated total — packages, add-ons, upgrades, adults and kids — is shown before you pay.
